General Information


At least a seven day rental is required at all times. All summer rentals are booked Saturday-Saturday.  Week-long holiday rentals and visits during off-season months MAY offer more flexibility in starting dates. 


One-half of a rental fee is due as a deposit by check or Venmo to owner at booking, and the remainder - plus tax, cleaning fee, and $250 damage deposit - is due 30 days before the scheduled visit. Rental deposits are refunded, minus a  $500 cancelation fee, only if the time reserved is rebooked.

This is a private rental cottage, so check-in is uncomplicated. Once final payments are deposited, guests will receive information including directions to the cottage and a code for a lock box. The box is located next to the front door and contains two sets of keys. Prior to arrival, guest passes for up to two drivers will be called in to the security gate.


The housekeeper will launder sheets from the three bedrooms. If you use the daybed and trundle in the den, please launder these sheets and return them to the linen closet. Guests are expected to help with the laundering of towels and bathmats/rugs before departure. (The house keeper’s time in between rentals does not allow time for all of the laundry.)


Be sure that both sets of keys are returned to the lockbox with numbers jumbled before leaving.


Minimum age of primary renter: 25 (No parties!)           No smoking on the property

Maximum Occupancy: 8                                                         Well-trained non-shedding dogs under 40 lbs. are allowed   

Maximum number of cars: 2                                                             with $100 increase in rental rate.
